My Art Philosophy
I believe beauty is a gift from God, who is Himself the source of all that is good, true, and beautiful. We are His image-bearers and stewards on earth, meant to cultivate, celebrate, and create beauty for His glory and our good. Human flourishing has never happened apart from an embracing of beauty, and that includes the arts. Painting is my small participation in the unfolding of beauty to a dark and dying world. Any gift or skill we have is from, for, and unto God, the Giver and Creator of everything, who delighted to give us color, light, nature, each other, and Himself. This is my true and deepest inspiration.
